The event takes place in April each year, and is part of the Education Foundation’s “Educational Fitness” month which helps to raise money for public education while focusing on the importance of healthy minds and bodies.
Swim, bike, run — and have some fun! Join us for the 12th Annual Citrus Kids Triathlon, a family-friendly event for all ages and abilities.
We are hosting the 12th Annual Citrus Kids Triathlon! The event features three divisions: JR (2017-2020) and SR (2013-2014) and a Tri4Fun that is open to any age. Children ages 5-15 can participate in the Age Group divisions. If you just want to TRI a triathlon, then enter the non-competitive Tri4Fun division where adults and children can go together.
The Superintendent’s Golf Classic is the longest-running fundraiser for the Citrus County Education Foundation. This year's annual event will host approximately 120 golfers competing in two flights based upon the skill level of their team.
Help us Stuff the Bus and stock our Suncoast Credit Union Supplies 4 Success Free Teacher Store! Donations can be made at participating locations across Citrus County and will directly support local students, teachers, and staff—ensuring everyone has the tools they need to succeed.
On this day, a school bus will be at select locations throughout the county, where community members can drop off donated supplies

The Citrus County Education Foundation invites you to the 5th Annual Schoolhouse Scramble—our signature golf tournament supporting local students and educators. Enjoy a day on the green with goodie bags, lunch, raffle drawings, and plenty of fun, all while making a meaningful impact.

The Golden Citrus Scholar Tour of Excellence (TEA) celebrates Citrus County’s top graduating seniors through a special day-long bus tour honoring their achievements. Each high school selects seven students, for a total of 21 nominees, who are recognized for their academic success, leadership, and service.

Math Field Day is a county-wide competition that gives middle and high school students the chance to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they've gained throughout the school year. The event promotes teamwork, encourages school spirit, and builds interest in the field of mathematics.

Each year, CCEF hosts Galaxy, a special dinner honoring the Teacher and School-Related Employee of the Year from every school and department. It’s a night dedicated to celebrating those who give their all for our students every day.
