A Galaxy of Stars

Hosted by Superintendent Scott Hebert and Executive Director of the Citrus County Education Foundation, Shaunda Burdette, this special evening brings together educators and community leaders to celebrate excellence across our district.

Each year, CCEF hosts Galaxy, a special dinner honoring the Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year from every school and department. It’s a night dedicated to recognizing those who go above and beyond for our students every single day.

During this celebration, the overall district winners are also announced—highlighting the very best of Citrus County Schools and the incredible impact they make in our community.
